The “Design” tab on the Mercuric Theme also allows you to set theme colors that fit your brand style.
RECAP: HubSpot Account > Marketing > Website > Website/Landing Pages > Choose your page or hit create > Design > Edit Theme Settings.
The Accent Colors refers to two dominant colors on your website that can be used as backgrounds and icons. For example, with Accent Colors you can create a color gradient over the background of your homepage using two hues of your choice as well as use them as background for the modules on the templates.
The Background and Border Colors are pretty self-explanatory. The titles of the settings range from Light Grey to Dark, and they apply to the colors originally used in the Mercuric Theme. However, you can change them as you like. For example, on our current Homepage template with the modules that we have, Dark Grey modifies the color of the arrow, and the Dark changes the background color of the sitemap module as well as the color that’s over some of the images in the modules.
Additionally, with the Mercuric theme, you have the option to create up to five Call-to-Action (also known as the CTA) buttons on your page. Each button can be styled to your liking by changing its shape and colors (including background, border, text) that will be consistent throughout your template.
